Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutors to join our team. As a tutor, you will deliver online sessions tailored to each student’s needs, helping them improve their understanding and prepare for exams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Conduct engaging one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions online.
- Explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Use various teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Regularly assess and monitor student progress.
- Provide targeted instruction for GCSE and 11+ exams, including practice exams and test-taking strategies.
- Communicate with students, parents, and guardians to discuss progress.
- Stay updated with educational best practices and curriculum changes.
- Log sessions and feedback in the TutorBird system and manage your availability.
Qualifications:
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience, especially with KS2, KS3, GCSE, and 11+ exams.
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and exam requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in online teaching platforms and educational technology.
- A degree in a relevant field is desirable but not necessary. Preference for candidates working towards a degree.

- Payment managed through TutorBird based on logged hours/sessions.
