What our A-Level Biology tutoring covers

Our tutoring covers the full breadth of the current specifications for AQA, OCR, and Edexcel. We know that A Level Biology is not just about memorising facts but applying them to novel scenarios. Your A Level Biology Tutor in Surrey / Berkshire will help your child navigate difficult topics like gene technology, homeostatic mechanisms, and the complexities of the immune system. We place a heavy emphasis on the required practicals and the mathematical requirements that now make up a significant portion of the final marks. By working through past paper questions together, we show students how to decode tricky mark schemes and use specific keywords that examiners look for. This targeted preparation ensures that students across Surrey and Berkshire are ready for the specific rigours of their chosen exam board, turning confusion into clarity before their final assessments arrive.

These are always one to one, ensuring your child has the tutor's full attention for every minute of the hour. Parents can stay updated through the GoodGrade Hub, where we provide progress tracking and session notes. There are no long term contracts, providing the flexibility that modern families need. It is a proven system that helps 93 percent of our pupils improve by at least one grade.

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer group sessions for A Level Biology?

No, we believe in the power of one to one attention. Every session is a private interaction between the student and their tutor to ensure maximum progress.

How do online lessons compare to face to face tutoring?

Our online classroom is purpose built for science. It allows for screen sharing of diagrams and collaborative annotation of past papers, often proving more effective than sitting side by side with a paper textbook.

Can we change tutors if it is not the right fit?

Yes. While we have a high success rate with our initial matches, you are free to browse other profiles and switch tutors at any time to ensure your child feels comfortable.

What happens if we need to miss a week?

We offer full flexibility. You can reschedule sessions through our platform directly with your tutor, making it easy to manage around school holidays or revision breaks.
